Yep, pretty much, if this is the avenue you are going to take because you didn't get your way, I would suggest you stop now.

My point was in highlighting your hypocrisy. Point made.

Oddly, in the pvt. msg. exchange you never offered any alternate posting "options" - it wasn't until the public posts that you brought this up - assumedly to save face in public.

And finally - how did I get my way? I removed my images and retained control of them - rather than give in and opt to use a 3rd-party pic hosting site.

For the sake of all the members and ruining additional threads - I suggest we both drop this public nonsense and leave the issue alone. You've made your decision - I've made mine. End of story.

My eventual compromise, if I had been able to continue, and I don't need to save face with any one, ask around, was to ask you to not post in other users thread with your host.

You're own threads was perfectly fine, but adding them to other threads created an issue, that because Phun doesn't officially recognize "webmasters" I have zero grounds to defend your use of your host to others. If you kept it in your own threads I could more easily do that.

If we had had a "webmaster" list, I never would have sent you the warning about image hosts, I could have easily looked and then ignored the use.

That was going to be my compromise, but I never got the chance. TheRiver started asking about the issue, and once he got involved, I backed out. Then you started pulling all of your content in protest of what I never full got to explain.

As for the over 20, it happens, we give leeway to all the Model forum posters, especially those that contribute so much here. The same kind of leeway I was trying to give to you. Unlimited posting in the CB and a compromise else where.

Might not be the right place, but I'm up for an adult discussion. I don't feel like we are bickering, just trying to express our points of view, and hopefully come to a mutual point of understanding and respect.
